How to keep your girl happy
Came upon this on someone's blog. Been reading technical SOPs these few weeks.
SOP on how to treat your gal happy:
- Always be a gentleman. Hold doors open for her, and just be polite and helpful.
- Know her favorite song and listen to her type of music, then share what you think about it.
- Learn to love what she does.
- Tell her that she's on your mind from the time you awaken 'til bedtime.
- Tell her you love her, but not too often. It loses its lustre if you overuse it.
- Whenever you tell her that you love her, MAKE SURE YOU MEAN IT.
- Make her happy by buying her gifts, but know what she likes beforehand.
- Always ask her if she's cold, but have a jacket or a coat handy so you can give it to her.
- Go out somewhere and have some fun. Some good places to go are movies, restaurants, and other relaxing locations.
- Never ignore her and just walk off with your friends. It's rude to do that. If she does it to you, wait a minute for her to return to you, and if she doesn't, go talk to your friends.
- At the movies or when you're walking, hold her hand. Girls love that.
- Become friends with her friends. It gives you more things in common with your girl. Eventually, her friends will love you, and that's a definite turn-on for your girlfriend.
- Walk her to classes if you go to the same school. When you walk her, carry her books, even if she isn't struggling.
- Don't be too shy. There are times and places that are appropriate to be shy, like kissing in public. Don't be too shy to put your arm around her or hold her hand, because you shouldn't be ashamed to have some public displays of affection.
- Kiss something other than her lips. Her hand, her forehead, her cheek.. anything like that will definitely put a smile on her face.
- If you know she has a good sense of humour, learn a new joke every day and tell it to her. If she appreciates a good-sensed joke, don't be afraid to share. Just make sure it is not offending to her.
- Be confident. Be proud of who you are, and being her boyfriend. Giving nice comments always makes a girls day, just not too many.
- Always respect her and always help her with whatever.
- Don't go too fast in to the relationship. Take it nice and slow. But not too slow.
- Ask her what would she likes to do sometimes.
- Love her to death and never cheat.
- Don't give her too much gifts or she will think you are trying to buy her love.
AGREE?

Sweet Rain vs Blue Sky vs Sunny Day
Shinigami No Seido aka Sweet Rain (スウィト レイン)
3 short stories. I like the first and the last story. First is amusing, last is heart warming and it also gives a perfect ending to the whole movie; 3 stories are actually linked ingeniously lol, made me went Oooohhhh....そうですか. Just couldn't understand how on Earth a robotic maid existed.
Omg...even guys must agree that Kaneshiro is suave and handsome lol, capable of turning guys gay. And he reminds me of my Jap tutor.
The sound track is worth listening to.
Music is man's greatest invention.

No torch
It’s a real mystery why China didn’t choose Singapore to host part of the global Olympic Torch Relay. I mean, we’re supposed to be such close buddies, right? And we’re ethnically compatible. Our roads are so clean and so nice. Some more, we won’t even allow a kucing kurap guy like Chee Don Juan to protest, you think we’ll allow the Dalai Lama? We’d have made things really easy for China, but instead they chose Thailand lah, Malaysia lah, Indonesia lah, even Australia. Wah lau, let them con us over Suzhou also neh choose us! We speculate why:
1. Unlike other countries, Singapore actually wants more of our emigrants. So they must be something wrong.
2. Torch banned under No Smoking Campaign.
3. Singapore food sucks – not enough yummy mercury and formaldehyde.
4. We’ll have to pay a fortune in fines for spitting.
5. Singapore cancelled at the last minute – they couldn’t provide enough police escort because everyone kena redeployed to find that Masi Lemak guy.
6. All those Hokkien speakers make it too much like Taiwan for comfort.
7. Singapore Gahmen said they didn’t want it – if all the mainland Chinese in Singapore have to show up as supporters, who’s going to sell beer, clean tables, do massage, pleasure our old men, etc, etc? The economy will grind to a halt!
8. Singapore is already part of China, mah, so it doesn’t count.

豆腐.. 功夫??
More 中国风 from Jay

Away for good food and relaxation
Time for good food and shopping. But I gotta say that the timing is not right. Just Enjoy I think.
Came across a recipe book on baking cakes, tarts, cookies, pastries, etc. It really gave me some aspirations to become a baker or chef again. It has been my ambition but things do not always go the way you want it to. Thinking about it sometimes is good enough.
Year 4 sem 2 is gonna start soon and there are many things in store for me. Really looking forward to it. And I must try to ultilise the facilities in NUS as much as I can. Hopefully the squash courts.
And suddenly I am very keen to learn blading. LOL
I have come to understand that many people come and go from your life. Just treasure the present.

Pretty amazing fireworks display which lasted 8 min.
The question is: Would you squeeze through and be pushed and shoved by the menacing crowd for 2hrs just to enjoy a 8 min fireworks display?
Take note: Lots of Banglas and poor crowd control
The mocha milk shake at BB really kept me awake.
